I did wonder why there appeared to be no mention of the danger to the complex on the official website that Jan Harding was promoting:

To me this really does stink of deep and dirty politics.

Keeping your enemies closer etc. Or even more extremely becoming your own enemy and not fighting!

Don't go for Jan!

It was he who organised the meeting and although unable to make too many statements himself gave us all sufficient information to start asking about Friends, EH, NYCC et all.

The one advantage I have here is I know how British Archaeology works, NO-ONE, will speak out publicly on their own.
