I've got a mission this summer to take stills from the air. Maes Knoll is one site, although you can't get very high there as it's right below the approach to Bristol airport! Hetty Peglers Tump is very close to Frocester, which is a good site to fly from, and Mere is another hill-fort site.

Pete will certainly get better video from a plane, anything from a paraglider would be pretty wobbly and peppered with shots of feet, canopy and random sky. When do you plan do make your fly past?

Any ideas on the tump?

Cheers,

Richard.

try this site for Wansdyke info.

which has some info on the Tump.
I'm working a CD rom with Robert for release sometime this year.

I'll be flying over Maes Knoll whenever the weather is fine enough.
I think we have to fly quite high to be above the aircraft that are landing at bristol ( 2,500ft ish.)
