Glad to hear you enjoyed the exhibition - LS's write up was very good. When I went I chose not watch 'Cave of Forgotten Dreams' as have it on dvd now but took a few moments in the 'simulated cave' room to reflect on what I had been looking at. I couldn't afford some of the more expensive publications but came away with a small book about the Swimming Reindeer. In lots of ways it was a once in a lifetime exhibition - am so glad I managed to get there.

Sorry about the weather :-)

Ah, we're accustomed to hearing "...the worst...in (umpteen) years..."

We had our Tingley rubbers and all was well. I mean, when you can tank up on fish&chips, Simpson's beef and Loch Ryan oysters, full English breakfast, Amaya Indian and Abeno Okonomiyaki, and fall into about a hundred thousand-year-old pubs, well, let it snow.

Our only wish was that the exhibition could have been a hundred times bigger! Ah, what an experience, Ice age Art in Ice Age Merrie Olde London. I'm a lucky boy!
