OK....

Had a quick look around the web and it seems this one ain't Cairnwell at all. That's to the east roughly NO907973 near Badentoy & NE of a farm cunningly called 'Cairnwell'. Marked on the Landranger as a ring cairn.

This one (if indeed there's owt there!) IS called Auchlee, after the hill. Someone on the Megalithic Porthole (Tom Bullock to be precise) reckons it's a 3 out of 5 - which in view of everyone else's experiences, seems a bit - odd!!!!

Wanna go have ANOTHER look now, but buggernose when I'll be anywhere up that way again...! Off you go then Running Elk!!!

Would email, but as this thread's here anyway...please see last 2 Posts from Greywether & myself. Any chance ye could sort summat out?

The grid ref prefix deffo needs modifying as Greywether sez at least, as it throws the whole thing miles out!!!!!

But I'm also pretty sure Cairnwell is a different site as explained in my last post.
