Only just noticed this one RE. When I lwent looking, I was just following the Landranger, so the co-ordinates didn't really come into it.

Is there something there that you've found? Got any pics you could post? From memory, I saw a few bits that coulda been summat - a few stones that MAY have been set, being on edge etc - but nothing big and nothing even vaguely definite.

OK....

Had a quick look around the web and it seems this one ain't Cairnwell at all. That's to the east roughly NO907973 near Badentoy & NE of a farm cunningly called 'Cairnwell'. Marked on the Landranger as a ring cairn.

This one (if indeed there's owt there!) IS called Auchlee, after the hill. Someone on the Megalithic Porthole (Tom Bullock to be precise) reckons it's a 3 out of 5 - which in view of everyone else's experiences, seems a bit - odd!!!!

Wanna go have ANOTHER look now, but buggernose when I'll be anywhere up that way again...! Off you go then Running Elk!!!
