We really do some mad things! I mean I cross bogs to reach places that no soul has been to in many a year and you climb mad rock faces and cross waist deep rivers.

Martin, I'd just like to say too that I enjoyed reading about your latest adventures and thought your excellent descriptions of the drippy undergrowth and crackling pylons were very evocative! And bravo for sharing your naked squeeze through the rocks!! v funny. I could just imagine you hesitating for ages and then finally thinking 'oh sod it' and getting on with it.

hahahahahahaha- good to know that my posts are appreciated.
Actually- dunno if it's worked yet! Yeh- sometimes my megalith adventures go all Indiana Jones, but I dunno what took over me on top of Traprain. It was indeed one of those moments when I thought 'nah', 'yeh- lets do it', 'nah-what if someone comes up the hill', 'oh fuck it' ;)
That day down the Lammermuir hills was *spooky*. It's a fantastic place, but up on the moors............it was all a bit Blair Witch for my liking.
RG- welcome back- hope you had a good holiday, and no, no stones were harmed during the process. Talking about clearing up- I'm glad I took my rucky up Traprain cos it was full of junk by the time I cam back donw. I had to clean out the mini-souterrain before I could even get in it. buggers.
