Some nice carvings were uncovered when they were making way for the Half Life installation thingy.

ps...we got a free preview to the Half Life show on saturday evening at 10.30pm..you would have loved it Rich., cracks and fissures, spooky lights, spooky music, amazing show...even had guys walking up trees and upside down..excellent.

ps again..got some really good shots of Cairnbaan coming soon;)

Sounds like a cracking event Wolfy. The most arty thing happening to rock art down here is several spotty little urchins with ASBOs defacing the Haystack Stone.

Is that a carving of a stylised foot just above and to the left of centre??

f-in'ell wolferous one, real beauts of cairnbaan. Another site where the outer ring(s) - fissure relationship is apparent. What hid down those cracks, pesky ancestors :-)

The short channel coming out of the largest multi CnR & into the larger fissure is wonderful.
