Some books I have read say the capstone was re-erected in 1921 at the same time as the uprights were re-bedded and reinforced with concrete.
Haven't found anything on any finds just yet but I will look tonight unless somebody else can enlighten us.

What I find fascinating about them is the placing of the capstone at an angle and on the points of the orthostats . When in effect a trilithon would have sufficed structurally .
