You could have just said you didn't know....
The reason I asked was I was wondering if you knew if they were excavated, or the stones were taken, or if they were ploughed out, i.e. whether it was worth me going to have a look. But it looks like you've answered that now, thanks.

Moth you should apologise to me and Jane for implying that Pete G and Octopussy are the only sensible ones here...

I knew I knew but couldn't find the article.
Twas by A.C Smith and has a lot of detail in it.
I think well worth a looksee as my experience of Destroyed monuments is that no one seems to bother visiting after someone says they have gone, often it means they couldn't find them again. ;)
There were some interesting finds from the Fallen one now
in Devises.
I'll take a hike up there my self soon. I got a few great pics this aft.
The Devils Den was in shadow but the vallley looked good.
I got some more nice Silbury ones and finaly got some of Bican Dyke :)
