Yes the stones are in a poor state and seems to be unvisited apart from a few rock-art folks and people taking their dogs for a s***. As Stubob notes, I remember seeing bits of paint from the fence splattered on the rocks last time I was there too.
Get 'em shifted somewhere safe I reckon.

agree about the paint.

the whole place is completely disgusting. stones are badly set in concrete and the railings just continue the humiliation.

I did say to Rocknicker when we were there, we should ask if we could put them in our back garden, would be better that having them sitting in a place like that...

and it is strange that the green paint on the rocks happens to be the same colour as the fence...

shocking...especially when you see the excellent ladder motiffs.
