Well, it turned out to be a very intimate meet up, indeed.

I managed to get some lovely photos and digital movie clips whilst sauntering around. Unfortunately my Flickr account settings won't allow me any more bandwidth this month, as I've gone and uploaded lots of photos of the Croydon gig. Great photos KC, it's always good to see Avebury through fresh eyes. Must get myself out there again soon for a quiet wander.

Hi KC,

Nice photo’s there, glad you managed to get there ok and had good weather to take them.

I managed to get up there on the Sunday and went for a pleasant walkabout with Rhiannon. We strolled up to Penning round barrows followed by a walk back down through Avebury’s SE quadrant and along the WK Avenue. After a quick visit to the Faulkner stone circle we then went up and over Waden Hill and back along the (dry) Kennet back to the carpark. In all I think that took about 3 hours but we weren’t in a rush and stopped to look at many interesting things and I learnt a great deal about lichen and moss (cheers Rh).

When you get the chance to visit the area again give us a shout.
