Did not a certain doctor from Marlborough grind up some of the bones from WKLB in some tomfool quackery...
As a matter of interest Ric, how and where would you see them buried? If you see the longbarrows as a tomb, by rights bones should go back into the tomb but in this instance the longbarrows have now taken on other roles, a) as a tourist attraction and b) as a place where modern day people come to pay their respect to old religions....Answering my own question, perhaps Windmill hill people should go back to their own ground and the same applies to bones found by stones, as for WKLB somewhere local to the barrow but with no markings... and curious as ever, would you advocate the same for roman/saxon/christian disturbed bones...
