there are a lot of pagans that come to Avebury and unfortunatly this tars everyone with the same brush.
The article says that ceremonies have been carried out at Avebury for 1,000's of years, this just isn't so. Tim Sebastian held the first Druid Gorsedd at Avebury 1985 and its conitinued on and off since then.
Before that it was 1,000's of years since that last ceremnony that meant anything,
