VR headsets are all well and good, but to get the true experience you need a force-feedback body suit. Then you can stagger around and actually bump into the virtual stones, or caress them lovingly. Come to think of it, perhaps megalithic reconstruction wouldn't be amongst the first applications for such a device. ;o)

If you still have Quake one there is a patch and several maps on my CDrom in the Games folder (actualy on the cd, not installed onto your PC)
I modified all the monsters and weapons to be more neolithic, Bow & Arrows, spears etc instead of ray guns.
Maps are Avebury, beckhampton and kennet ave, WKLB, Weyland smithy, stanton drew, seahenge (With pirahna's)
and of course Stonehenge.
