I could be wrong, but it looks a lot like certain people take exception at newcomers invading their cosy world..

sorry if it seems that we are a bit hard on newecomers but we have seen this forum invaded by new people from other forums several times before.

"Invading", yes. "Joining", no. And starting one thread isn't invading.

Well, a lot of them were boundary markers or cattle scratchers now that you ask. I've seen people swing crystals over stones erected 100 years ago and find 'earth energies' and state that it's a place of power. Now, one 'new' stone being erected in a 'place of power' I could accept as coincidence, but several or worse every one of them is a bit iffy. Doesn't do their arguement for older sites a lot of good does it?

Some of us do think that way, yes. Some of us don't. We've had some long threads about that.

They probably did, but we've f*cked with the planet so much that it is impossible to get the same handle on it today, no matter how much you try.

everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.
because i don't wear mine on my sleeve you presume that i have none? you know nothing about me or my beliefs. don't be deluded into thinking that you do.

they might well have been. they probably weren't. we'll very likely never know for sure, but i don't remember anyone else here having said that.

as above, please don't presume to know anything about me, anyone else here, or what we believe.

you personally come across as a militant pagan freedom fighter. perhaps you are, perhaps you aren't, i'm not presuming anything but that's certainly the impression you're putting across to me.

replace 'pagan' with 'christian', 'muslim', 'sikh', whatever you like... i have no time for zealots of any persuasion.

if you don't like being disagreed with go and post on alt.pagan.carpark or somewhere everyone will tell you how wonderful you are.
