Nonna's Well..or St Nuns...is well worth a visit. The owner of the site has done a great job in recent years to clean the site up and improve the access. When I first visited about 10 years ago you had to fight off the cattle...you would not have liked it!...Nowadays it is all fenced in and steps allow access from the road above. Add to that fantastic views up and down the West Looe valley.

There is nothing to see at Pelynt barrows, all ploughed out years ago..better to head for the ones near Boconnoc that I posted a few weeks back.

Castle Dore..watch out for the cows!

Get in touch closer to the time if you have time for a pot of tea.......or there's always Goffik's pint that he has still not come down for...

Once tried to walk to Boscawen-un from Brane (where we had parked to visit Carn Euny village) but I was wearing shorts and the footpath south was overgrown with nettles and brambles. So instead drove and parked in the aforementioned layby and all was well.

Oh, that one's probably gone flat - I'll have to come down for a new one now! ;o) I suspect a visit is in the offing - not been since November! Wah! And that was only a long weekend... Not fair! Been a long time since we've stayed in Readymoney, too... Hmm... Probably have to be September now, though... I'll let you know if/when we do!
