its been ongoing for some time, hence the surrounding trees were cut down some time ago, the spreading root structures slowly undermining the integerity of the fogou.Also i was informed some time ago that a tree had come down in the strong winds across the site of the fogou.
I think we have to realise that in time the fogou will degenerate further leading to a total collapse.

Shame really.
