Good work, Eds! :)

'Ere - for anyone interested, EH had this to say on Twitter:

"So the Marlborough Mound is prehistoric - that makes it the 2nd tallest prehistoric mound in Britain! Doing cartwheels we're so happy"

Can't argue with that! :)

It'll be the tallest if Sibury keeps falling down!

Sorry, that isn't really funny, is it?

High Squid.

The largest of the Bartlow Hills, designated as Roman but perhaps much earlier, is now 15 metres high while the Marlborough Mound is now 20 metres high. Not much in it, in fact it makes you wonder if there mightn’t be a shared and fairly widespread ‘cultural tradition’ at work.

Nah, we saved that one! ;)

Few years ago you might have been bitch-slapped, but I think you're safe now... :D

(I didn't want to say, but it was also mentioned that it was Heritage Action that broke the news of Marlborough Mount's antiquity straight after the embargo was lifted *high fives self* ;) But we don't want to bang on about it. Chuckle!)
