what's its grid reference, then, Enderfay?
I believe it is SJ 974 001 (GB Grid), Rhiannon.

Moss - Apparently, it doesn't seem to feature in any of the local history records. All L.H. associations and periodicals appear totally silent on / oblivious to the subject(?)

Megadread - it is rather angular and slim. As to what sandstone, it has been suggested it is the same as went into the construction of the church itself. though I don't know whether this was an academic appraisal or just a general comment??

Regards,

Enderfay

Can you not contact someone and try to access the grounds for a closer look and get some better pics.
Is the site occupied by a warden or such.
Do the council maintain the grounds, you could nip in whilst they're cutting the grass etc.

thanks Enderfay, I'm like a... I dunno, a rabbit sniffing a distant lettuce or something... I can't resist a nice grid reference. It's an illness really.

It's the methodist chapel is it??

(edit - If you say it's holy trinity, it's SJ 976 008.)
