Moss - Apparently, it doesn't seem to feature in any of the local history records. All L.H. associations and periodicals appear totally silent on / oblivious to the subject(?)

Megadread - it is rather angular and slim. As to what sandstone, it has been suggested it is the same as went into the construction of the church itself. though I don't know whether this was an academic appraisal or just a general comment??
