I've never been to this one. Sounds like a right pain.
Nah, it's really easy to get to just a 5 minute walk from the car ,but it is well hidden ,when your next over i'll show you (ooh get me )
Can you tell from the pics? ,it's just that ironmans stone appears on two websites, but I think it's the other one, but no-one seems to know of it.
I really don't want to let go of this one, untill some one says yes that's a burial chamber or no it's just a fortuituosly placed stone .

any comments sought even if you just say "let it go"(don't though)

10 out of 10 for tenacity Postie ;)

Fwiw, and that ain't much, for I know bog all about Dolmny things. I'd say 38825 looks like it could be a contender, especially when compared to the others of similar style. The ivy covered one is v difficult to say due to the ivy. That's the prob with pics, they're no substitute for bing there are they.

I reckon you need to be patient again, and wait till you can lure someone else to visit (not always easy, just ask Stonelifter).

Mebbe draw a map of where each of them are in the field, then go to town in your description in your fieldnotes so that it might prompt interest in those who are browsing tma and may be visiting the area?
