It's a well written article by someone with personal experience. For me the secret of Lethbridge is not always what he says, but how he says it.

As was said in a recent conversation, reading Lethbridge is like chatting with your granddad. He's all pie and slippers and maybe a smoking jacket. His way of saying "Some might call me mad, but I believe XXXXX" or "I don't quite know whether to believe this, but these are my results and conclusions ..."

He had the balls to write things down to prompt debate. He wrote everything down that he thought and let people think what they will. Unfortunately, instead of people discussing the things he wrote they either derided it or believed it without reservation.
