That depends on whether one considers the 'heart' of a god of language to be 'language', or to be a cultural interpretation of language. This is confusing as hell to me. As for the similarities in representation, all i can say is "I've been done guv",

I know what you mean, I spent ages researching Ogmios only to find most of the "knowledge" to be interpretations ontop of interpretations - many of which were dubius.

I even asked some linguists for an understanding of the name similarities, it appears even here there is no easy progression from Ogmios to Ogham or Ogma. It is possible, but only with a great deal of rule bending and imagination apparently.
