Yes - it IS a bit feckin weird, isn't it? Totally random!

I love it that Historic Scotland do a "free weekend" for Skara Brae - can you imagine EH do that at, say, Stonehenge???

Always nice to hear about Orkney though... Still number 1 on my "Places I Want To Revisit Very Soon Indeed" list!

Actually this was the weekend when entry to all Historic Scotland sites was free, they do it once a year. Pish awful weather on Saturday though, and no convenient buses Sunday.
