Yes Slumpystones - offensive! And I haven't heard any Irish jokes for many a long year, since it became very obvious that Ireland was having the last laugh. Thank you Bunnymen for your brave stance.

Back to the point of this thread, I really do hope the very stupid perpetrators are identified and suitably punished with at least a hefty fine.

It's a very sad situation when one cannot laugh at oneself or anyone else. How offended you must get when Little Britain's on TV, or indeed just about any comedy.
