Where are you headed from and how long have you got? I did a 3 week Scottish tour last summer, taking a week to get to Callanish, a week on the Outer Isles, and another to get back. Lots of miles, over 50 ancient sites, some fabulous people, amazing places to camp ... can I come too please?

Theres a good book called 'The Western Isles' by Charles Tait. It doesn't go too in depth about places but it does give map references showing where they are. Believe me, theres loads to see of Lewis, it's a great place and that goes for Harris too :)
