Yeah, its odd, the new OS Ireland map thats in a sort of ring bind and produced in conjunction with the Northern Ireland OS has the strangest places marked on it, some really obscure places that I've never heard of. But then some of the more famous places arent marked at all. Finns Fingers there gets included but Kilclooney More doesn't.

I've decided to head for Cavan today and finally see the Shantemon stone row. After looking at the OS map I see I've had it marked for ages with a big note by it saying 'hard to find in the trees', so I haven't bothered with it. Now the trees are mainly gone I can go and have a look. Loads of stuff around there I haven't seen yet as well, including lots of sweathouses ... if I can find the little so-and-sos!
