Well... the stones posted on tma then become avenue stones quite a way from the circles.

I couldn't resist and went straight up there after posting that. I started at the circle site and walked the best course I could find across the golf course & beyond following the possible avenue. I'm gonna bosh together a rough webpage of the stones I found (quite a few) for comments before sticking them up on tma.

At the circle site itself, there are a few large rocks scattered about including one which could be a leaning standing stone. There are also some weird shaped earthworks, in particular a large quadradlateral missing one side, like a square horseshoe.

Fantastic views from there though, straight at Solsbury.
