It was a lovely and unexpected pleasure to see the moon move high in the sky between the flankers on the solstice (c 8.00pm). Something made sense..
Well spotted Tuesday , like Sunhoney , Midmar is oriented on the minor moon set , an azimuth of about 234 degrees at Midmar . (but this place particularly makes me question that recumbents could be used to mark the moon setting - the topography here just wouldn't allow it - the hill across the valley has a skyline way too high)
