moon over midmar

close

It was a lovely and unexpected pleasure to see the moon move high in the sky between the flankers on the solstice (c 8.00pm). Something made sense..

(but this place particularly makes me question that recumbents could be used to mark the moon setting - the topography here just wouldn't allow it - the hill across the valley has a skyline way too high)

Well spotted Tuesday , like Sunhoney , Midmar is oriented on the minor moon set , an azimuth of about 234 degrees at Midmar .
