The pin on the inline map is using the 6 figure grid reference, so it won't be exact when you're zooming into a high degree of detail. Even with 8 or 10 fig references, there is still a slight discrepancy, as the Google Earth maps use a slightly different method of calculation to that used by the Ordnance Survey.If you can provide a more accurate OS reference, we'd be happy to edit it.
