St Helen's church

Speaking of fairies. I went to a fairy site my friend told me about. I thought I was ready to see into other dimensions..... I took my smudge and burned it for protection (this is basically a native american practice). Any way the place was truly magical. The sun cast a golden light upon the dragonflies & butterflies. Time stood still as I became one with the babbling stream, mother earth and the winged ones. Mind you I was in the middle of nowhere when as clear as if someone was standing right next to me I heard a flute being played. It quite honestly scared the crap out of me!! I later came to the realization that this was the flute of Pan :-) and I was not ready for to see what I thought I was ready to see!!

Have you read The Modern Antiquarian? If not you might not know what I'm on about here...

Don't get me started on the horned one! I could go on all night (named myself for him, even, as you'll see). The link takes you to half of what I've unearthed, the Divine Descendants (Pan amongst them). The "Language & Landscape" entry contains the rest. It'll perhaps explain the fright!

And I love the flute (but usually only in Krautrock)!
