Cool present LOL - it's pretty big from memory & a lot of stones isn't it? Must have taken ages & been a lot of effort even if they used mechanised diggers etc. Secrecy must have been difficult indeed!

Not particularly Scottish in style is it? Wide diameter, stones all similar size, quite small for size of circle etc....

Couldn't resist taking a pic or 2 - in fact someone saw it & was asking where it was when looking at my photos.

Yeah, I'm not sure where he got the stones from...there is an old quarry next to it on his land...so maybe from there?
I think he made it randomly -- but you're right, top present - I want one!

there's actually quite a few Scottish circles with a wide diameter but small stones. it's just that they're so small, people never see them! sprining to mind off the top of my head are
