Don't worry; I've some proper Rock Art for this man to protect. Just have to bring the farmer on side first (!) then to start digging. I'm going to try to infiltrate a wheelbarrow to the farmyard for starters. If we could get someone there for the Winter Solstice sunrise that would show the direction to dig. Crass? Yes I agree. Useless prohibitive signs are crass as well as ineffective. Could try iron cages for the boulders like at Kit Cody and the Whispering Knights, or perhaps some tasteful razor wire. Ever heard of wear and tear - nothing is forever is it? But I guess that's a crass observation too.
