Thanks :o)

It`s very confusing up there, isn`t it? Burl`s instructions didn`t seem to be very clear. There`s stones all over the place and it`s difficult to see what counts and what doesn`t. I couldn`t work out Lacra E.

As usual, I need to go up and have another look ;o)

And I`d like to try and sort out the rows.

While I was there, I sighted a hawk-type bird that I`d like to identify. My attention was drawn to it by its call, sort of "arwooooooo" with a long, descending "ooooooo". I`ve been listening to the likely calls on the net, but haven`t found it yet. This always seems to happen to me; I see some wildlife that I can`t identify, then when I look in the book, everything`s different.

Yeah Burl's not that much help spotting the bits at Lacra - just a case of wandering about til you find them!

Next time I'm scanning I'll see if got owt worth posting that's not already covered.

Have you been to Burn Moor? http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/browse.php?site_id=3010

Iron Man's right - it's totally under-rated & well worth a visit.

The climb from Boot is a tad on the energetic side and the circles are quite difficult to spot but fantastic once you do!
