"The People of Gisburgh are civil, cleanly, and well-bred, contrary to the Temper of the Inhabitants of Whitby, who, to use, seemed rude in Behaviour, and sluttish"...

Tell my daughter that she lives in Whitby with all my well-mannered grandchildren ;) And of course its got the best fish restaraunt, The Magpie, and well mannered Goths of course, not Goffiks though..

Actually I though of you and your interest in the giantess Bell with her cow when I read the story that followed. But then I guess lots of people had cows in them days.

LOL! There was guy (ha!) from Guisborough on the African trip with us. He was pretty 'stoic' - but when you talked to him for a while he was a good bloke. Can't comment on the farmers tho, he was a retired non-farmer.... ;o)
