I recieved this in the mail this morning:
<b>I was delighted to find pictures of the archaeological monuments located at Carrig, Co. Wicklow on your web site.
The Carrig Concerned Residents group, of which I am a member, is currently trying to get a preservation order on these monuments and their environs. Over the past year the fields containing the Passage Tomb have been "reclaimed for agricultural purposes" causing irreparable damage to this site. Your photographs are possibly the only remaining record of what was once there.

Yours sincerely,

I'll fill in some more detail as soon as I can. In the meantime the possible only photographs are here:

As you will see there was not a great deal left anyway. The townland once had 4 PTs and a wedge tomb http://www.megalithomania.com/show/site/462 ... The last two remaining passage tombs seem to have been trashed since I visited 14 months ago.
