• Weather at time of visit: - absolutely boiling as we went up the hill. Cloudy when we got to the stones. Gorgeous as we walked back down again.

• Physical fitness and ability, e.g. have you got or had any illnesses that may make accessing the site particularly difficult? No disabilities other than a dislike of hills. But I try my best, although I have been known to complain as to why the goddamn iron age builders thought hillforts had to go at the top of hills.
