Well, I wouldn't want to pre-empt the presentation someone has taken so much trouble with at the pub, and can't remember the exact details. The quality of the water in the general area was one abiding theme. Beer's pretty good too! I got the impression that the colony of folks Ronnie Lane established up there had been kind of "captured" by the magic of the place, and i reckon they would have some good stories to tell. Also in the pub, they have an old press article from one of the Sunday supplements on the wall called something like "Myth and Magic at the edge of England". It's interesting reading.
