Just been looking at your images for Boleycarrigeen and cannot believe how different it looks from when I visited in August. Even though Ryaner had spent some time beating back the bracken it felt overgrown and somewhat obscured - this image looks like a totally different place. Still one of the most magical sites I have ever visited though.

It's an odd place. When the bracken goes away it opens right up. Now the trees around it are a little bit thinner it will be great this January. I'm hoping that it will be clear for the Winter Solstice. Myself and Ken saw the sunset there last year and I want to head back there and see it again.
