confusing name lock

Hi Mr Aire
I think you may have confused the site with this one. http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/6755/round_hill.html
Names don't just get misspelt or mispronouced they also evolve over time, just look at Roseberry or the nearby Turkey Nab.
If I used the local or traditional name for sites it could all start to become a little confusing, e.g. imagine some poor bugger trying to search for Steers, Magra, Yatton or Chup Yat.
I've placed the name as an alternative on the page
cheers

Hello Fitzcoraldo,

Point taken - I didn't realize you'd offered it as alternative. I'll remove that comment from the page.

One point about Chop Yat. It's should never have been written down as Yat, but should always be spoken like that. The written 'g' is of the silent Anglo-Saxon variety. hence Gate is correct spelling, Yat is correct pronunciation.

Best wishes
