Agree .Can't think of anything similar . Ideal small excavation might help . I'm wondering if James Kemworthy ever saw it and what his thoughts were ,if recorded .It's right in his area .That said, perhaps the term stone circle should be used for owt stoney & circular. Not specially helpful tho...
