Agree .Can't think of anything similar . Ideal small excavation might help . I'm wondering if James Kemworthy ever saw it and what his thoughts were ,if recorded .It's right in his area . That said, perhaps the term stone circle should be used for owt stoney & circular. Not specially helpful tho...
