Agree .Can't think of anything similar . Ideal small excavation might help . I'm wondering if James Kemworthy ever saw it and what his thoughts were ,if recorded .It's right in his area .

Reminds me of the wee cairns inside the Standing Stones Of Echt/Cullerlie.
