We are talking tribal chiefs at Tara. I remember from my four months of sitting in Dublin library reading everything there has been written about Tara since around 1000ce that the armies of the chiefs weren't allowed near the hill. I imagine the only ritual going on in the camps would involve drinking and whoring.
