Hey up Postman,

See you've found the stones at Brand End then....was a coupla years back when I first came across them...
But like I never could find any mention of them anywhere so never stuck 'em up.
Excellent stones tho' and in a top spot.

Interesting stones, remind me of Penrhos Felw.
They don't seem to be on the SMR and that tall one looks very smooth to be old.
I wonder what they were.

I suspected you may have been aware of them, They are in a great place aren't they, with hollins hill enticing one to go further into hills with the caves and hilltop cairns. There's a huge difference between the two stones, I'm hoping at least one of them is old probably the little one.
Bah ! what do I know, I just love exploring.

Ever been to Pillsbury hills castle? and seen the stone next to it ?
I'll delete it if its just an old gatepost.
