No, there's two dimensions that could be measured there - the greatest length and the width. Maybe they have nothing to do with the Megalithic Inch - I'll never know unless someone does it for me. When you show an archaeologist a hole in a megalithic stone, that is in units of MI, then they splutter and umm and try and get away from it. (Which is why their undergraduate degree is a B.A.).
