It could be earlier but because of the association with the christian rather than the earlier site they may have claimed "ownership" . There is an example of a cup marked rock near Innercochill in Perthhire that has been christianised with a cross with similar long radials . I would have thought the term spiral votive was more appropriate to something with another dimension e.g. a candle holder .

There used to be a bullaun at Labbamolloga, but it's long gone. It had 'curse' or turn stones. They are still on the site, but very carefully hidden. When the bullaun was removed someone went to a bit of trouble to keep them on site.

The door stones to the church probably came from the stone 'arrangement' in the field behind, which I believe was an avenue rather than a circle.
