I can't believe it was never scheduled. It's pretty bloody disgraceful. All for the sake of someone making some money out of building a road, one assumes? It makes me really cross to read about it. Some people have no bloody imagination and no vision of anything more important than what's in front of their noses and in their bank accounts. Good on the protestors who tried to get in the way, at least they tried. Perhaps the rest of the ribbon is safer under the ground as this era of civilisation clearly can't be relied on to take care of it.

grr

This is repulsive, isn't it? Well, to any sensible, intelligent person, anyway. You'd have to be an idiot to ignore the importance of what's happened here... And it's all too common, sadly! It's even sadder here due to the fact that the ribbon is so unique. We'll never know what it was all about, will we?

This is why we gotta keep raising the awareness of these sites at risk!

I don't know why, but something in the back of my mind thought it *was* scheduled, but buried. However, looking on MAGIC, there's nothing scheduled along that new road from the A49 at all. So they couldn't even get that right!

Of course, Dinedor Camp looks down from the top of the hill, and that *is* scheduled, and probably connected with the Ribbon in some way.

The only other scheduling in close proximity is two DMVs, one SE of the hill the other in Lower Bullingham to the NW of the hill, an old church and a manor house. Nothing in 'our' time period at all.
