This site and others have made contributions to the language, which is rather satisfying. Megarak and stonerowing spring to mind and there are others.

I'd like to push another word, "rotherwassed".

I can't believe it was never scheduled. It's pretty bloody disgraceful. All for the sake of someone making some money out of building a road, one assumes? It makes me really cross to read about it. Some people have no bloody imagination and no vision of anything more important than what's in front of their noses and in their bank accounts. Good on the protestors who tried to get in the way, at least they tried. Perhaps the rest of the ribbon is safer under the ground as this era of civilisation clearly can't be relied on to take care of it.
