It's not so much the developing with something like this spencer, (although it'd be considerable and fairly costly) but the upkeep. OS changes, or GE changes could mean constant tweaking. For a project like his to really work and be useful (i'm sure goffik would agree) it requires not just the initial work but constant attention. I'm a programmer, but not web stuff, so goffik would i'm sure know more about that subject.
